The Team

Marcel Roy

Marcel is a co-author of “Paper Trails: the Dirt Roads Crossing the Information Highway, the Business Case for Electronic Records” and President of TRAC Records Inc.

Marcel started TRAC Records Inc. a records and information management consulting company in 1988. Prior to establishing TRAC, Marcel had been Director of Records Management for the Alberta Government. He started his career in Records Management with the Federal Government where he held several positions of increasing scope. Marcel is an AIIM SharePoint

Specialists and has a Certificate in Information Management from the University of Alberta.

Since the early 1980’s, Marcel has been involved in numerous projects records and information management involving with electronic document management/imaging systems and automated  business process solutions.

Marcel has been an active member in the Association of Information and Image Management (aiim.org) and Association of Records Managers and Administrators (www.arma.org). Marcel is a regular speaker at conferences and enjoys training.

Patricia Beelby

Pat is a co-author of “Paper Trails: the Dirt Roads Crossing the Information Highway, the Business Case for Electronic Records” and Vice President of TRAC Records.

Pat has been working in the electronic records field for nearly 15 years. Prior to that, she had a career in public management which included municipal and provincial government senior management positions.

Pat is a Certified Document Imaging Architech™ and is qualified to conduct needs analysis, design and specify electronic document management systems. She is also a Certified Records Manager. Pat has a Master degree from the Faculty of Business, University of Alberta.

Her professional memberships have included ARMA, AIIM, Canadian Association of Professional Speakers and the Writers Guild of Alberta. Pat is also a speaker and a trainer. As a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, she won the Edmonton Chapter Showcase 2004 and went on to present at the national conference
